16th Festival of Culture Addis Ababa Culture, Arts and Tourism Festival June 2025.Back after 2 years!!

Minister of honor of the day, Federal Minister of Culture Mrs.

 Shewit Shanka,who officially launched the Festival said in a

 message that art plays a significant role in  a national identity.

 she further on added that the Festival is an opportunity

  Where veteran artists can share their 

Experiences Beginners and Amateurs, and where we can

Strengthen our Unity.

  The Honorable Head of the office added that art plays a

 major role in introducing the developments taking place in

 our country to the public.considering this,the government is

 establishing many art exhibtion centers in all its development projects.

The Festival was believed to have attracted hundreds of    Addis Ababa residents.

The festival had stand for artists who used to live in the

 Subcities of Gulelle who was the residential area of the king

 of washint Afework Yohannes,whose long musical career was

 displayed in  photographs including his physical  Ethiopian

 flutes.The tourism bureau displayed Courtesy of his family.

There was also the family of Munaye Menberu's daughter and

 her fellow artsists from Hager Fiker Theathre who

 established a memorial artistic association called Hibir Kal.

There was also the stand of the former Midir Tor(Ground

 Forces)currently named Mekelakeya Kine tibebat Sirawoch

 Directorate and last but by no means the least the Fendika

 Cultural center's stand.
